By using drytally.com or the DryTally app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
What the tools do and do not do
- A personal tracking tool. DryTally counts days, drinks, units and calories from the numbers you enter. It is not a medical device, does not give medical advice and is not a substitute for professional help. See the disclaimer and Get help.
- Figures come from official sources, and guidance changes. Standard drink sizes, the unit formula and the calorie factors are taken from the sources named on each page, on the date shown. Check the official source before you rely on a figure.
- You are responsible for your entries. The results are only as good as the dates and amounts you enter.
- Adults only. The app is for people aged 18 and over.
Use of the website
What you calculate or export with the tools, such as figures, charts and copied results, is yours to use for any purpose, including commercial use, with no attribution needed. This does not cover third-party content named on the credits page.
The tools are free. You may use them for yourself and share links to them. You may not copy, resell, mirror or repackage the site itself, its code or its design as a competing tool or service, or use automated tools to copy the site in bulk or to overload it.
The app: free use, Pro and purchases
The app is free to use with the features listed on the app page. Pro adds more features and is sold in two ways, through the App Store (iPhone, iPad, Mac) or Google Play (Android):
- Yearly subscription: a yearly plan with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers, at the price shown in the store or at checkout.
- Lifetime: a one-time purchase at the price shown in the store or at checkout; it does not renew.
Subscription terms:
- Billing. The store charges your Apple Account or Google Play payment method at purchase (after the trial, for the yearly plan) and at each renewal. The yearly plan renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. We do not receive your payment details.
- Cancellation. Cancel in the store’s subscription settings (Apple Account, Subscriptions; or Google Play, Payments & subscriptions, Subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds. Refunds for app purchases are handled by Apple or Google under the store’s refund policy; we cannot issue them.
- Separate purchases. A purchase on one store does not unlock the other. Restore a purchase from the Pro screen or Settings in the app.
- Price changes. Prices may change for future periods. A change does not affect a period you have already paid for.
- Apple terms. For purchases on iPhone, iPad and Mac, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to the app. For Android purchases, the Google Play Terms of Service apply.
Your data
Your log stays on your device and in backup files you create. We cannot restore a lost log or a lost backup passphrase. Keep your own backup. See the privacy policy.
No warranty
We test the tools against answers worked out by hand, but mistakes can happen; check anything important before you rely on it. The site and the app are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from their use. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Content and licences
The site’s design, text and code are © DryTally. Third-party material is listed on the credits page, and its licence applies to it.
Changes and contact
We may update the site, the app and these terms at any time; the date below the title shows the latest change. Questions: support@drytally.com. Nothing in these terms limits the consumer rights you have under the law of your own country.
